SHMA will be closed for the first week of the school holidays and reopening for the second week per our regular timetable.
- Closed from Saturday 21st September 2024 and reopening Monday 30th September 2024.
Over the years we always experience a drop in student’s numbers during the school holiday’s, so this is a great opportunity for our staff to rest and re-energize.
There are many advantages for our students when our staff and instructors take leave or just have a break:
- Staff that have taken timely leave are more energized and enthusiastic when they return and are recharged to continue working with you on your martial arts journey.
- Staff that attend ongoing training are more professional, bring fresh idea’s & passion to their teaching and develop more skills.
- We believe that spending precious time with family & friends is important to us and is an integral part of our staff’s personal development.
Please note that your student membership fees are not based upon a quantity of classes over time but rather the quality of the Martial Art program that we provide, hence our school closures are not charged in your membership fees. Any classes missed during Academy closures can be made up in the following week of the school holidays or at any time throughout the course of the next school term.
- Also parents please note that you are able to pause your child’s membership over the school holiday period if you are unable to make it into the academy, we just require a two week written notice period to do so.
