KIDS KUNG FU PROGRAMS

Our Junior Martial Art’s Plus programme is helping many children reach their full potential. Using innovative methods and just the right amount of fun, we teach our young students life skills and physical skills that will benefit them now and as they grow into adults.

We emphasise non-violent conflict resolution and teach children to be confident, focused, and respectful and use Martial Arts only for the defence of correct principles.  Learning to avoid conflict without fighting is the goal but, if necessary, our students develop the skills needed to defend themselves. Our teaching methods have been designed to ensure that children learn quickly and retain what they learn. Their confidence increases each time something new is learned. In addition, your child will earn STAR’S that recognise attendance, reading, excellent manners and good behaviour.  All of our exercises have been carefully designed to help develop hand-eye coordination and motor skills.

Through our philosophy of positive reinforcement and through interaction with our instructors and other children, your child will develop the security and confidence to thrive in new situations. They’ll be more focused, attentive and equipped to achieve their very best in school, at home and all other aspects of their lives.

And finally, we recognise that in pre-teen years, peers become more and more influential. As a result of our emphasis on character development, parents regularly tell us that the children in our programme are the kind of kids they want their kids to have as friends.

Why Kids Love Our Classes

Every class is full of the activities kids love most such as jumping, kicking, punching, and tons of high-energy drills that keep them interested, excited, and motivated.

Why Parents Love Our Classes

Family values like respect, humility, self-control, and honesty are an integral part of Martial Arts training. A Martial Arts School is one of the few places outside the home where these principles are taught. They are perhaps the fundamental difference between Martial Arts and any other activity in which your child may participate in.
