Six Harmonies will close for our Spring break, which includes staff development and annual leave. The closure period will run from Saturday 18th September 2026, with the Academy reopening on Monday 26th September 2026.
Why We Close During School Holidays
Historically, we have seen a decrease in student attendance during the school holidays. This downtime presents an ideal opportunity for our instructors to take a well-earned rest and recharge for the upcoming term.
Benefits for Students
Our staff and instructors taking leave or a break brings several advantages to our students:
- Energised Staff: When our team members take regular leave, they return rejuvenated and enthusiastic. This renewed energy helps them to better support you on your martial arts journey.
- Professional Development: Ongoing training allows our staff to develop professionally, bringing fresh ideas and greater passion to their teaching. This results in improved skills and a more dynamic learning environment.
- Personal Development: We value the importance of spending quality time with loved ones. This is a vital aspect of our staff’s personal growth and well-being.
Membership Fees and Class Make-Up Policy
Please be aware that your student membership fees are decided by the quality of our Martial Art program, not by the quantity of classes attended over time.
As a result, school closures are not included in your membership charges. If you miss any classes during Academy closures, you are welcome to make them up at any point during your membership period.
Should you have any questions relating to this matter, please feel free to contact Shifu Stuart directly at stuart@sixharmonies.com.au.
Alternatively, you can speak with your instructor to help arrange your attendance around your holiday schedule.
Thank you.
